 Dear Parents,

Today in class we did the following:

1)              Adjectives, RWN Page 295

2)              Vocabulary words 8 – 15, A Froggy Fable.

3)              Homework: Write vocabulary words and definitions two times each, write one sentence for each vocabulary word.

There will be a vocabulary quiz this week. The quiz will include sections on spelling, definition matching, fill-in-the-blanks, and adjectives.

Thank you for your patience and understanding this week. I will be returning to school tomorrow.

Winter Vacation Homework

 Dear Parents, Please see the attached notifications about Winter Vacation homework. Greeting parents,                                 I hope you all have a nice and relaxing Chinese New Year.   For the winter vacation homework, we would like two short essays written, at about 500-750 words per essay. 1-        An essay talking about the things you did during this Chinese New Year, if there were any travels and special things you did.   Please also give your feelings on the activities you did.   2-        An essay talking about your favorite toy or game.   Please talk about: Why you like it so much or makes it so special? How often you use it? Who gave it to you? What makes it better than other toys or games you have? 3.        Grade 3 will be having a reading competition in March. Each home room must choose the three best students to represent us. Students who wish to participate in the class reading competition should choose a book and practice their oral reading. S
